Substack may use cookies, analytics, device information, browser information, IP addresses, and other technical tools to operate the platform, deliver emails, secure accounts, process payments, measure engagement, and improve services. Substack’s Privacy Policy explains that it collects browser/device information, IP address, subscription status, and usage information through cookies and platform activity.

WIWO may review Substack-provided analytics to understand reader engagement, but does not use those analytics to personally profile readers outside the publication’s normal editorial and subscription activity.


VIII. Intellectual Property, Scraping & AI Training

WIWO does not authorize the scraping, copying, harvesting, dataset creation, automated extraction, commercial reuse, or use of WIWO writing, images, captions, frameworks, tag systems, or editorial concepts for generative AI training or machine-learning datasets without written permission.

This section does not limit a reader’s ability to share public WIWO links in good faith.


IX. Data Retention

WIWO keeps reader, subscriber, message, and commerce-related information only as long as reasonably necessary for publication management, communication, recordkeeping, customer support, legal protection, or platform functionality.
